Kingdom of Bahrain, November 17, 2024 — The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) Youth Asian Championship is set to make its highly anticipated return to the Kingdom of Bahrain for the second consecutive year. The championship will take place on December 14 and 15, 2024, during the prestigious Brave Combat Week, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

The event, which showcases the best young MMA talent from across Asia, will be held at the state-of-the-art Khalifa Sports City Arena. This year's championship promises to be even bigger and more exciting, bringing together youth fighters aged 12 to 17 to compete in various weight categories. The IMMAF Youth Asian Championship serves as a crucial platform for the next generation of MMA athletes, providing them with international exposure and an opportunity to test their skills against the best in the region.

IMMAF Vice President and Asia Director Wissam Abi Nader praised Bahrain's commitment to the growth of mixed martial arts in the region. The IMMAF Youth Asian Championship is a testament to the Kingdom's dedication to fostering young talent and promoting the sport at all levels," Abi Nader stated.

The IMMAF Youth Asian Championship will feature divisions across three age categories (12-13, 14-15, and 16-17 years old) with athletes competing under modified IMMAF rules designed to prioritize safety. The competition will follow a single-elimination tournament format, ensuring a high level of excitement and competition throughout the event.
