BRAVE CF 27 update: Aliskerov injured, out of Fakhreddine fight

After hosting two successful events, Cedar Fighting Championship has proven to be one of the main players in the MMA promotion scene, as its last fight night on October 22nd was epic considering the entertainment, fights, and level of the fighters that took part of the show, as Georges Bardawil from "Tristar Gym Lebanon" (4-1) fought Amer El Shawnshiry (6-1) from "Egyptian Top Team" and claimed the first CFC Bantamweight Title, alongside Tristar's Heavyweight "Rocky" Mark Tanios (7-2) claimed the first CFC Heavyweight Title beating Mohammad Tantawy (3-2) from Egypt as well.

Although everyone was anxiously waiting to watch "The Bulldozer" Georges Eid (4-2), who is now on a 2 years winning streak, fighting for the CFC Welterweight title against the Italian Punisher Giovanni Melillo (5-1), the fight was postponed due to Georges's hand injury and it is expected to take place at CFC 3 which is supposed to be held in early March. On the other hand, there are rumors spreading about a possible CFC Lightweight Title between two well known contenders in the Arab world, but no names have been released yet by any member of the Cedar Force.

As a reminder, CFC II is scheduled to be aired on Sundays during January on MTV Lebanon. Don't Miss it!
