Mangat prepares for title fight with GSP and Demetrious Johnson
Gurdarshan Mangat intensifies his preparation for the bantamweight championship title fight at Brave Combat Federation alongside current UFC Middleweight Champion Georges St. Pierre and UFC Flyweight Champion, Demetrious JohnsonGurdarshan "St. Lion" Mangat trains at the famous Tristar Gym, Canada. The team at Tristar Gym is excited to add yet another championship title belt to their list of achievements.

Gurdarshan Mangat will be the first Mixed Martial Artist of Indian origin eligible for a championship title opportunity. He is scheduled to face Stephen Loman from Team Lakay, Philippines. Mangat has hailed Georges St. Pierre as an inspiration and said it was an honor to witness his comeback from retirement to win the championship title in one of the biggest fights in the sport.

"It has been a real honor to witness the road from what it was to where he is right now. Georges St. Pierre is a warrior through and through. He is the example of the perfect modern day warrior. Not just what he displays in the cage, but who he is altogether as a man outside the cage, from a fighter to the family man he is, to the humbleness he has kept in a time that is easy to turn against all that. In a game that it's constantly evolving, to keep evolving with it, no champion has done it like him and may never again but the bar has truly been set high and he is still pushing it.", commented Mangat.

Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions features three championship title fights at Khalifa Sports City on November 17 in Bahrain. 32 athletes representing 21 nations will compete in one of the biggest fight nights in Asia for the year 2017. Brave 9 is poised as the highlight of the Brave International Combat Week alongside the IMMAF World Championships.
